The rapid advancement of AI is fundamentally reshaping how  organizations operate. Consequently , boosting AI literacy across the workforce is now a key priority fororganization worldwide.

To help navigate  this transformation, ATD and UMU have released their third annual joint research report:
“Organizational Use of AI for Talent Development: A Focus on AI Literacy.”
This report delves into  how organizations are equipping employees with vital AI skills and tools. It also provides insights into the latest trends in AI-powered learning and development, talent placement, safety and security, effectiveness measurement, and ethical considerations.

The findings are based on a global survey conducted between August and September 2024, which gathered responses from 440 talent development professionals across numerous  countries, including the U.S. and Japan. This  research was spearheaded  by ATD (Association for Talent Development), the world’s largest organization dedicated to talent development, with a global membership of over 30,000 professionals in more than 120 countries.

Dongshuo Li

Founder, President & CEO, UMU

Since founding UMU in 2015, Dongshuo Li has grown the company into a leading enterprise learning SaaS platform used by over 100 million people in more than 200 countries and regions. Under his leadership, UMU and Li himself have received numerous global and industry awards. In 2022, UMU was ranked No.1 in Japan’s ITreview “Best Software TOP 50.”
Li was also honored with the 36th TOYP (The Outstanding Young Persons) award in 2017, which included an audience with Their Majesties Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan.

Prior to founding UMU, Li held roles at Hewlett-Packard (2005–2008) and Google (2008–2015).
